Rift Coach for Windows
A voice coach for League of Legends ARAM and ARAM: Mayhem. It tells you when to back off, what to buy, which augment card to keep and how to play your champion. After the game it shows you one thing to work on next time.
Install
- Click Download for Windows.
- If your browser says the file "isn't commonly downloaded", choose Keep. In Edge that is the ... menu next to the warning, then Keep, then Keep anyway.
- Open Rift-Coach-Setup.exe from your Downloads folder. If a blue box says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for small apps that aren't sold in a store.
- Click through the installer, leave both boxes ticked and click Finish.
- In League, open Settings, then Video, and set Window Mode to Borderless. It looks like full screen, and it lets the coach see the augment cards.
Every game
- Double-click Rift Coach on your desktop. The coach screen opens full screen. A second monitor is best, and the voice works either way.
- Queue for ARAM or ARAM: Mayhem. When the game loads you'll hear "Coach ready."
- If an augment card screen comes up and the coach stays quiet, press Ctrl+Shift+F8.
- After the game, the coach screen shows your review.
Good to know
- Hands off. It never presses keys or clicks for you, and it never tracks enemy cooldowns. It only reads Riot's live game data and your screen.
- ARAM only. It stays quiet in every other mode, ranked included.
- No account. No sign-up, no key and no AI. Your games stay on your PC.
- Card advice. The best card is lit, and the second best says OR THIS in case you'd rather take that one.
- Quitting. Right-click the gold diamond icon by the clock (it may be behind the ^ arrow) and pick Quit. F11 leaves full screen.
If something breaks
- Right-click the gold diamond icon and pick Open my game files.
- Zip the newest two files in the recordings folder and coach.log in the logs folder.
- Send the zip to whoever shared this page with you, with a line about what went wrong and roughly when.
